Hey Everyone,

No time to write anything of relevance of value this week.
Just like any other week some might say.  Arrgh.  I don't know
why they call this dead week.  What a misnomer. Professors
cover more chapters and assign more problem sets than any other
week in the quarter. Cram, cram, cram. Should call it work students
to death week.

Please join us for an information session and workshop on the White House
Fellows Program next Wednesday, December 6 from 12:15 to 1:15 in room 290
at the law school.

The White House Fellows Program was started in 1965 by John Gardner,
Former
President of the Carnegie Corporation and Carnegie Foundation for the
Advancement of Teaching, former Secretary of HEW, and consulting professor
at Stanford's School of Education.  The program serves to encourage
participation in public policy-making and improve effectiveness of
government.

Each year 15 to 20 Fellows spend one year in Washington, D.C. as full-time
paid assistants to the Vice President, cabinet officers and other
top-ranking government officials.  They help draft and review legislation,
write speeches, conduct meetings, and participate in an educational
program
with officials, journalists, scholars, community, business leaders.
Interested students should come to the workshop on December 6 to learn
more
about the program and strategies for successful applications.
Applications will be available at the session.  Additional information and
