Internet Outlook 2000

September 11 & 12, 2000
San Francisco Airport Marriot
Burlingame, CA

Is it the beginning of the end? Or the end of the beginning?
Turmoil on Wall Street raises lots of questions about the future
of Internet-related businesses. We don't have all the answers, but
we know for sure that online retailing and services are still growing
apace and that investors who miss this wave will regret it. Powerful
technologies, including broadband access, personalization, and digital
media, are creating new opportunities while they alter the playing
field for everybody. We've selected 100 of the private companies most
likely to succeed in this stormy environment and planned an agenda aimed
at providing a clear vision of a promising future.
